Frequently Asked Questions

Revlite™ has been regarded as the gold standard in Laser Tattoo Removal for the past decade worldwide.

Apart from tattoo removal, Revlite™ is a highly effective laser for:

  • Laser Facial: no-downtime skin rejuvenation with deep collagen stimulation
  • Laser Peel: targets superficial pigmentation and sun-damaged skin
  • Skin pigmentation due to sun damage: freckles, sun-spots, age-spots etc
  • Hormonal Pigmentation (melasma)
  • Enlarged Pores
  • Pimples and blackheads
  • Fine facial hair
  • Hand, neck and decolletage rejuvenation to address loose skin and sun damage related pigmentation

The 1064nm Wavelength of this laser makes it a very safe choice for treating darker skin types.

Our patients love this laser so much that we have not only one, but two machines in our Subiaco clinic!

Most treatments performed by Revlite™ using the 1064nm wavelength are associated with little to no downtime and minimal discomfort.

The second wavelength of this laser is 532nm. This wavelength is used for treating superficial pigmentation such as freckles (Laser Peel) and spot treatment for flat moles. Patients may experience mild redness or erythema in the treated area for 3 to 7 days with the use of a 532nm wavelength.

This depends upon the type of condition being treated.

  • Skin Rejuvenation:

We recommend one treatment every 8 to 12 weeks for the ongoing benefit. Revlite offers excellent value for money. With no discomfort and no downtime, it is the most popular laser treatment in our clinic.

  • Laser Tattoo Removal:

3 to 15 treatment sessions are needed in most cases. Some tattoo inks are incredibly resilient and may take more treatment sessions.

  • Hormonal Pigmentation (Malasma):

Hormonal pigmentation is extremely difficult to treat. Some patients may need weekly sessions for several weeks to improve this condition. The strict use of sunblock and topical skin bleaching agents are often recommended to speed up the process.

  • Flat moles and Sunspots:

1 to 5 sessions may be needed, 4 to 6 weeks apart in most cases.

  • Enlarged Pores, Pimples and Black Heads:

Generally, 3 to 5 sessions are needed 1 to 2 weeks apart. Often, we recommend other treatment modalities such as:

- Light Peels

- Microdermabrasion

- Skin Needling

- LED Healite™ Therapy and

- Cosmeceutical skincare to be combined with Revlite™ for optimum results.

  •  Facial Fine Hair Removal:

4 to 6 sessions in most cases.

Skin Rejuvenation:

  • Full Face: from $350
  • Face, Neck & Decolletage: from $450
  • Hands: from $90

Laser Tattoo Removal:

Note: Treatment costs with the Revlite™ laser for other conditions vary considerably from person to person and can only be priced accurately once you have had a consultation with one of our clinicians.

The Medisculpt® Difference

"Art, indeed, consists in the conception of the result to be produced before its realisation in the material." - Aristotle

The practice of aesthetic medicine and surgery is as much an art as it is a science. The aesthetic sense of a clinician in evaluating a patient is as important as his or her clinical skills. At Medisculpt®, our philosophy is to artistically enhance your appearance in a way that stresses elegance over glamour.
